Sandy Sims was raised in Southwest Mississippi, having moved to Osyka at age 12 and still calling the town home today. He graduated from the Amite School Center in Liberty, MS, before graduating from Southeastern University in Hammond, LA, with a degree in marketing. He then continued his education at LSU in land surveying and civil engineering.
Throughout college, Sandy worked hands-on in residential construction, where his interest in land peaked. After college, Sandy landed in the industrial construction industry, where he still works today.
Currently, he is an Estimating Manager for Excel Contractors in Baton Rouge, LA, as well as a licensed realtor in Louisiana and Mississippi. Sandy is excited to extend his career into real estate and work for McMillan Land & Realty, honing his focus on hunting land, timberland, and recreational property in Southwest Mississippi.
He thanks Jesus for the opportunity to be brought up in such a wonderful area, for meeting his wife, Meagan, and for raising two amazing children, Culver and Truett. Beyond his love of Jesus and family, Sandy cherishes the time he spends caring for the community and strives to actively uplift those around him.
